About

Experienced freelance documentary editor, writer, producer and story consultant, best known for the social issue documentaries she has edited, including Pidgin: the Voice of Hawai‘i (2008), It's Still Elementary (2007), Special Circumstances (2006), Tangled Roots (2000), Surfing for Life (1999), & It's Elementary (1996).

Current Productions

It's starting to feel like hot summertime here in Honolulu...got the ceiling fan on in the edit room and we're hoping the tradewinds kick in this afternoon.  Plucked the first ripe mango from the mango tree.

Immersed in documentary editing with Guam filmmaker Lola Bautista on her film BREADFRUIT & OPEN SPACES.  Lots of new work samples on my YouTube Channel, including our most recent work on Robin Lung's documentary FINDING KUKAN and the PBS Showcase sizzle reel we produced and edited for National Minority Consortia.   And work continues with artist and filmmaking co-conspirator Trayc Claybrook on her new monumental video installation project, PEACE PILOT.

Upcoming Screenings

Join us September 21, International Peace Day when Peace Pilot lights up the Texas night! Peace Pilot is a monumental video installation, with four meditative short films about peace, which will be projected four stories high on the exterior and interior walls of the Interfaith Peace Chapel in Dallas.  Want to know more?  Watch the trailer and follow us on Facebook and Twitter to get the earliest updates.
